Empowerment Forum – Help Children Learn Better with their Eyes

Most people know that children need to be healthy to do well at school. However, not many people are aware that good eyesight and vision are very important for children to do well at school.

80% of learning in school occurs through the eyes. This is because children learn best when they see and visually interpret learning materials. Hence, children with eye and vision problems often have difficulties learning.

As the resumption date for the 2019/2020 school session draws near, it is important that parents, teachers and other caregivers are prepared to provide children with the basic things they need to learn and do well at school.

To that effect, our Empowerment Forum for this month is focused on helping parents, teachers, and other caregivers gain the knowledge and skills to help children learn better with their eyes.

We invite you to this forum to learn, discuss with eye care professionals and find answers to questions concerning your children’s eye health and vision care.

The Forum takes place on Saturday 31st August, 2019 between 11am and 1 pm at our clinic located at 121 Itire, Road (beside Union Bank), Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos.

Access to the forum is free but reservation is compulsory as seats are limited.
