What are Digitally Fit Eyes?
Dr Rose Azuike, the Principal Optometrist at Kesona Eye Centre, described digitally fit eyes as eyes that do not easily become strained or uncomfortable during digital device use. She highlighted their key characteristics and outlined the visual skills and the habits of individuals who possess them.
Digitally fit eyes are well-functioning eyes that are properly cared for and can withstand the visual demands of digital screens. People with digitally fit eyes rarely experience symptoms of digital eyestrain, such as light sensitivity, glare, burning sensations, dryness, gritty feelings, headaches, or neck and shoulder pain. If any discomfort does occur, it tends to be mild and short-lived, even after prolonged device use.
