Redness, Itching and Eye Irritation

Redness, itching, burning and irritation may be associated with allergies, infections, dry eye or other eye conditions. We assess your symptoms to identify possible causes and recommend appropriate care.

Dry Eye and Eye Discomfort

Dry eye can cause burning, gritty sensations, watering, redness and fluctuating vision. We assess factors that may be contributing to your discomfort and recommend suitable treatment and management strategies.

Blurry Vision and Focusing Problems

Blurred vision may result from refractive errors, changes in your eye health or other visual conditions. We examine your eyes to identify the cause and recommend appropriate solutions.

Eye Infections and Inflammation

Eye infections and inflammatory conditions can cause redness, discharge, swelling, discomfort and vision changes. We assess the condition and provide treatment where appropriate or arrange referral when additional medical care is required.

Glaucoma and Other Eye Conditions

Some eye conditions, including glaucoma, may develop without noticeable symptoms in their early stages.

We assess your eye health, identify findings that may indicate an underlying condition and recommend appropriate monitoring, treatment within our scope of practice or referral for specialist care.

We understand that experiencing an eye problem can be uncomfortable and sometimes worrying. Our approach is to help you understand what may be affecting your eyes and guide you towards appropriate care.

1. Comprehensive Eye Assessment

We begin by listening to your concerns and reviewing your symptoms, medical history and other relevant factors. We then examine your vision and eye health. Depending on your symptoms and examination findings, additional tests may be required to help identify the underlying condition.

2. Personalized Treatment and Management

Once we have assessed your condition, we explain our findings and discuss suitable treatment or management options.

Depending on your needs, these may include prescribed eye medications, appropriate lenses, dry-eye management, practical eye care guidance or other treatments within our scope of practice.

We consider both your examination findings and individual circumstances when recommending care.

3. Monitoring and Follow-Up Care

Some eye conditions require ongoing monitoring to assess changes, evaluate treatment response or identify the need for further intervention.

Where necessary, we recommend follow-up appointments and provide guidance to help you manage your eye health.

4. Referral for Surgical Care

Certain eye conditions require specialist assessment, advanced treatment or surgery. When this is necessary, we explain why additional care is needed and refer you to our ophthalmology partner hospital

We do not perform eye surgeries at Kesona Eye Centre.
