Accommodation

Accommodation is the process by which the eye changes focus from one distance to another, usually from far to near, and vice versa. When the eye changes its gaze from a distant object to a near object, the pupil constricts and the lens thickens (its curvature increases), causing the eyes to converge and bring the near object into focus on the retina. This process helps the eye maintain clear vision at different distances
